"Longhorn is the best- I can not recommend them highly enough! We recently hired Longhorn Home Services to install the old furnace & AC. They were AMAZING. Orlando took a complicated HVAC problem and not only fixed it, but did so at the lowest bid price of everyone we talked to! From beginning to end- Orlando and his team were professional and courteous. Our home was built with faulty ductwork leaving very little airflow in the 3rd floor. Orlando’s quote came back $3,500 lower than the nearest competitor- and $13,000 lower than the competitor who said they could fix the airflow problem too. Orlando was clear up front- the new furnace and AC should help the 3rd floor, but may not solve the problem. He suggested trying it and if it didn’t work they’d move to the next phase to fix the problem. We needed to keep costs down so we agreed- let’s not spend extra money doing things that may not be necessary. Once in- still no airflow on the 3rd floor. So he recommended the next step- installed at a very reasonable price - still $3,000 below the nearest competitor who had no plan to solve the overall problem. That wasn’t enough so he spent the time figuring out how the upstairs was configured and came up with a solution he was confident would solve the problem. He was right. We now have EXCELLENT airflow (my kids are now complaining it’s too cold on 95 degree days!). And everything included was STILL $500 less than the competitor who had no plan to solve the actual problem and $10,000 less than the company that had a plan to solve it in the beginning (I still have doubts that their plan would even work!).
